Dr. Peter Heine
Dr. Peter Heine – born in 1968 – studied computer science at the Universities of Dresden and Clausthal. Following graduation, he worked on process consultancy and the development of software for gas industry solutions within consultancy and energy companies. In 2000, he developed the IT Consulting division of ECG Erdgas-Consult GmbH and was appointed as a Managing Director in 2000.
Under his leadership, the company became a leading consultant and software specialist for the German and European energy industry, with a workforce of about 150 employees.
Dr. Heine was awarded a doctorate in economics. The title of his thesis was "Group-wide data management in the energy industry". He has published articles on business computing, energy industry economics and controlling.
